good comic books stores in the san francisco area

26 posts in this topic

I live in SF, and have been to amazing adventures and comics outpost and cards and comics central, but are there any others? I'm primarily interested in silver and bronze back issues and keys, and not too many places seem to have these. And yes, its freezing this week here.

I wish there was a good one near palm springs.

the nearest i know of is moreno valley and i do have to go out there once in a while so it's not a big deal. there are two in town. one is total , the worst place i have ever been to. the other looked nice through the window but was closed. i'll give them a try next time i'm out that way, couple weeks i think.

I could mention a whole bunch of stores....unfortunately, they all closed in the 90's.

;)

There's a store in Dublin called "Comic Ink" which got a new owner maybe 5 years ago...looks decent.

Really? I didn't know there was a store there... Gotta check it out. hm

Man, I haven't heard that name in years.

That's where I bought my first Unity #1 Plat and Gold...for $15 each.

Thought I was getting an absolute STEAL...

I used to work at the Lutheran church right down the road...

Please tell me the crappy MoVal one is the one next to Big 5 on Sunnymead. It is the one I know about.

Where is the other one? I live here and - not surprisingly - am clueless.
