Stolen AS #10 CGC NM- 9.2

A book that I co-own with Ted from Superworld was stolen from us using a stolen Credit card. The book was sold to a Jack Assarian 19 Sheri LN Eatontown, NJ 07724. Tracing the address we determined that the person who lives there is Mary Booker.

Oh snap...I've bought books from them on Ebay. I certainly hope it doesn't turn out they're knowingly selling stolen goods. Good luck with this man.

I'm pretty sure Bob wouldn't think that the scammer would be so stupid as to put it on eBay within a day or two of pulling off the scam.

 

My guess is he sold it to J&S for cash, and that they put it on ebay unaware of its history.

Certainly looks fishy, but JS has been around a LONG time and are quite reputable to the best of my knowledge. Maybe they bought it from the thief?

Ive never seen them list slabbed books. I bought from them once but i returned the books.
