I think the print run was pretty low.. and I heard a story some were confiscated by state police or something when it first came out..but I don't know if that was Playboy #1 or a different issue..

 

(hmm....i wonder if they still have those copies in an evidence room somewhere

Hard to see on a white cover scan - but there looks to be a fair amount of creasing and dimpling-

I guess that Playboy is out of my price range! But if you all want a stab at it..this is where I saw the collection..looks like they have a lot more too
