I just read issue one and absolutely loved it. It blew Fade To Black out of the water for tonight's horror reading. I love the art. I love the dialogue. I love the little mysteries leaving me wanting more. I think this comic is on the same playing field as Stumptown to me. Can't wait for issue #2.

I read this. The 5 preview pages were the most interesting part of the story. Not much else happened at all. I think I have the next issue or 2 coming, but I took it off my April previews order.

There's only one copy at my LCS and it looks like someone banged all the corners into the hardest surface they could find. Should I get it?

I liked it, it looks like a slow build up to a good solid read. Much different in tone to WD for a zombie book.

Hmm...well I got on board The Waking and then my LCS owner said that the publisher is one of those publishers that will start and stop titles without any real closure which has me worried about wasting my time on Xenoscope books.

Of course Shuddertown is from Image. But my point is maybe I should just wait for my zombie fix from TWD since so far when I've strayed I've been let down.

I never bothered picking that up so I can't compare. Shuddertown has more of a gritty urban feel to it.

 

 

It's not a zombie holocaust, they've just found a couple of dead bodies that have been mutilated and have teeth marks.

 

 

I don't think you'll be disappointed by this. I can't speak for future issues though.

#1 was a good read - though not a zombie-centric story (yet) by any stretch. Good story and art though.

Finally read #1 today.

 

Loved the art.

 

Not sure about the story. Started off great, but was flighty at times. This could be great, could be forgetable.
