Think about it in these terms. How many copies of early ASM, AF, and FF 1962-1964 vs. the next generation that came out in 1968. SC 4- Flash 105 was 1956 and 1959. Both of those six year gaps meant a lot as far as collectors go.

It truly is a great looking book, but! the problem with that guy is you never know what's going on with the book. For all we know, pages might be missing, it might trimmed and/ or have ct (shrug) I'd prefer the book to be unslabbed in order to be able to take a look at it myself rather than to buy a pig in a poke.

Yes, some times people have no idea, send their books off to that company and the books might even be perfectly fine besides the grade that will most likely differ from cgc standards. I don't mind as much with restored comics. However, if a book is a higher grade, unrestored key I'd rather wait for a cgc graded copy to come up for sale instead of risking a lot of money 2c

:fear: cojones is not what I am lacking - the money is. But I tend to agree with George, too risky.

I wonder does c-link guarantee unrestored on PGX books if you re-slab them with CGC? hm

I highly doubt it. Why would they guarantee for a product of another company/ pgx (shrug)

C-links return policy:

Money Back Guarantee

ComicLink provides a 6-day money back guarantee on all non CGC-graded comic books (including PGX books, unless the PGX books were purchased at auction). A return will be accepted if all of the following occur: 1) Payment is received from the buyer on time 2) The book is mailed back out to ComicLink no later than 6 days from the date received by the buyer, 3) ComicLink receives an email or phone notification within the 6-day time period that the book is going to be returned, and 4) The item is received by ComicLink in the same condition sent, within 12 days from the date the book was first received by the buyer. In the extremely rare event that CGC's competant staff misses restoration on a book, and that book is subsequently shown to be problematic at any time in the future (after being reviewed by CGC or by ComicLink's staff before it is cracked out of the CGC holder), a full refund will be issued.

They only appear to guarantee CGC books to be unrestored :P that could turn out bad.

At least they should have a back cover scan of the book

Without a doubt they should (tsk)

Good find (thumbs u

. . . and what you said about it then Flash105:

I would have paid that price for it if it was CGC but the rumors I got were that it was in a PGX case for a reason.

Do tell what you heard hm

I need an upgrade but I think I will pass on that. If there was a guarantee, I would possibly give it a shot.

Interesting that c-link specifically states they will guarantee a CGC slab, but makes no mention of doing the same for PGX. Guess it's another indication of the lack of trust most people have in PGX's grading standards.
