Picked up a nice higher grade ASM 129 today at my LCS to go along with the lower grade SS copy I already have. Check out the twins:

I used to own several nice copies of ASM 129 (9.0-9.4). But I sold them all when the movie was coming out. Feels good to have a copy again, even if its only a reading copy. Just read it for the first time in years.

Why did you crack the slab?

 

I crack out all my keepers. Just personal preference, I think they look nicer in a mylar. The key is I don't plan to resell and if I do handle the books, I am very careful not to damage them.
