What Will You Do? $25 Amazon credit.

So a lot of us got Amazon'd this week.

 

Did anyone really miss out? Nah, not really. But with cancelled orders Amazon has decided to dish out some free credit to people. I'm interested to see what each person on this board ends up doing with their credit. Me, well I'm having a hard time deciding which Wii game to get...or if I should go for some Super Hero Squad stuff for the kiddo.

 

What will you do?

 

$25 can be hard to spend if you weren't planning to spend it.

 

Perhaps we should all order the same thing that is limited in production and then they'll have to issue us even more credit. (Sarcasm)

I think I figured out what I want to get. Now I am trying to figure out if this $25 credit is applicable to items sold by sellers or only items sold by Amazon.

I wanted to use the credit today on some DVDs. When I got to the final checkout page, the $25 discount wasn't visible in the total. Is it supposed to be visible on the checkout invoice? Or do you pay the full amount, and Amazon will apply the discount when they charge the card later?

Make sure the items are from Amazon.com and not another seller. I tried it with other seller items first and it didn't display, removed them and put items from Amazon and it appeared.

I finally figured it out. I tried it earlier, and I guess the credit hadn't gone through yet. I tried checking out just now, and I saw the credit was there. I got:

 

Family Guy: Stewie Griffin Untold Story

Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 6

 

Only $15 out of pocket!

I purchased the Kull: Exile of Atlantis Limited Edition by Subterranean press. Got it for $84.50 after promo and amazon discount. Lists for $150

 

I saw it for 8.24 just a couple of days ago.
