Great books DiceX-- I always loved that Wrightson treasury. I have a couple copies myself but they aren't in as nice of shape. Whats the deal with the Reality issue-- That cover is killer. Never heard of it before. Is it a fanzine? Magazine or over sized comic? Once again-- Love that cover.

Wow on the Gosh Wow #3-- Ya know I've seen the art for it on the forums here but had never saw where it came from. Such a cool book. By the looks of Berni's art I'd say this is certainly an earlier book in his career.. 1966? maybe 1967? He was really working hard to be Frazetta when he as young, until he morphed into what he became, which was pure awesome!

Reality is a fanzine from 1970. The quality is higher than other fanzines I own from the same time. The cover is a thick matte finish parchment.

Gosh Wow is from 1969, but I believe the style of the art appears to be from maybe a few years earlier in Wrightson's career.

And there's nothing wrong with the top right corner on the Squa Tront. It's printed that way. The color doesn't go all the way to the edge of the paper.

If you mind me asking-- WHERE THE HECK DO YOU DIG UP YOUR MAGS FROM???? -- I am dying to know DiceX

I am drooling here.

Digging through boxes that nobody else bothers to dig in. It's all perseverance, man. Just keep looking.

I agree with that statement 100%. If you have multiple ways of finding comics or mags, you'll maximize your chances of finding some of the great stuff. When I lived in Illinois, I worked with a guy and we talked about comics a lot. When I'd tell him about some of my buys, he'd say "You could fall into a pile of chit and come out smelling like a bed of roses.". And I would always say "No, I just work at optimizing my opportunities."

I look for comics and magazines at garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, local comic shops, on Craigslist, in online auctions, on eBay and elsewhere. Just like anything else, it's a lot of work but also kind of a mindset. Just maximize your opportunities and the good stuff will come around at some point. (thumbs u

I have wanted a copy of this for a loooooooooooong time.

I can't recommend this any more highly. If you're a Wrightson fan, this is like a wet dream.
