My Dad got me hooked on several things that I continue to be hooked on to this day: CBS Radio Mystery Theater, Doc Savage and Comic Books (however, the only reason he bought me my first comic books was to get me away from Dungeons and Dragons - he still laughs about that when he sees my house full of comics).
