8 Longboxes of CHEAP Indys: - Recap Page 50!

Ok, QUIZ TIME!

$5.00 credit to whoever gets it!

My Dad got me hooked on several things that I continue to be hooked on to this day: CBS Radio Mystery Theater, Doc Savage and Comic Books (however, the only reason he bought me my first comic books was to get me away from Dungeons and Dragons lol - he still laughs about that when he sees my house full of comics).

So, this trivia question is: What was the first comic book that my Dad bought me off the stands and who drew the cover?

Hints:

1. It was a double size anniversary issue.

2. Cover date was January 1979.

I can't tell if this will be a tough question or an easy one...I'll give more hints if nobody gets it.

Action Comics 500

Curt Swan

Err. Andru + Giordano
