Neal Adams? The hottest thing on the boards right now?

87 posts in this topic

I love Neal Adams. I dare you to find a comic geek who doesn't, but is it just my imagination or is he the hottest thing on these boards right now? It seems like every selling thread has his work in it, and it's selling? Has it always been like this and I just didn't notice? Or is there something that has stirred the movement? Care to discuss?

For me, Neal Adams represents the absolute best artwork in comics, period. If you look back on all the covers he did and how nice they are, it is just plan amazing. He had an incredible sense of proportion and the ability to maintain it when showing dynamic scenes that really tell the story. I would have to say his work on Batman and Detective are my favorites.

I am not saying other artist were not great, but Neal's work is just plan amazing.

There's a ton of interest in adult film star Kneel Adam's work on the boards lately although I am loathe to explain it.

Speaking of adult films:

There is a forthcoming Batman XXX porn parody from Vivid Entertainment, originally scheduled for a March release. The film officially wrapped April 12, and director Axel Braun posted a full trailer yesterday on You Tube. The DVD is now scheduled for release on May 24.

Batman: A XXX Parody stars Dale DaBone and James Deen as dynamic duo Batman and Robin in a sexed-up spoof of the 60s-era Batman TV series. Tori Black (Female Performer of the Year at last week's X-Rated Critics Organization XRCO Awards) plays Catwoman, Lexi Belle plays Batgirl, Evan Stone plays The Riddler, and Randy Spears plays The Joker. Alexis Texas, Kimberly Kane, Andy San Dimas, Syren Sexton, Levi Cash, Alec Knight, and Ron Jeremy also appear in the parody.
