185 is the last 12c issue in the run and is one of my favorite stories from when I was a kid. It's pure Silver Age goofy/serious, where the outcomes are all explained in convoluted ways (super breath! an innate sense of balance due to acrobatic prowess!). Love it.

I could have sworn greatest adventure 80 was a rare in high grade 1st but maybe it's not a 1st app per se, I'll check

The House of Mystery is the first appearance of Robby Reed/Dial H for Hero and the H-Dial. Not hugely popular, but it had a resurgence in 2019 with a new Dial H for Hero run. And Miguel Montez (the current Dial H character) is in Teen Titans Academy.

San Diego Comic-Con haul. Couple nice war books, a Dennis the Menace Giant Xmas Issue from 1958, and a Gunsmoke Western with a killer Kirby cover.

I read them all. The Dennis with the Toole and Wiseman stories is predictably hilarious. I laugh more at them now as an adult than I did as a kid. The GW has some nice stories by Heck, Maneely, Crandall, and Severin. That AAMOW with the cool medals (worth the Wikipedia rabbit hole and the extraordinary acts of valor that lead to these honors being bestowed on American service people) is one of my favorite Grandenetti covers. And the OAAW has peak-period Kanigher and Kubert that is cinematic and loaded with artistic flairs that few comics from that time period can touch. 1st appearance of Zack in Easy Company.
