Amazing that we both have a HG copy of book that may turn up once every generation in grade. Actually the colors on mine are sharper. Should have adjusted the colors. I just bought it at Wonder Con less than two weeks ago.

I asked about you at Wonder Con and heard you weren't there?

Just picked this up on eBay:

$_57.JPG

Looks to be in good shape plus I got it for cheap. My silly noob question is how come it's listed as being worth more raw than graded and slabbed? I pulled this from ComicsPriceGuide.com:

Condition Raw Value Graded Value

10.0 (GEM MINT) $300 $300

9.9 (MINT) $200 $200

9.8 (NM/M) $100 $100

9.6 (NEAR MINT+)$75 $75

9.4 (NEAR MINT) $50 $50

9.2 (NEAR MINT-) $40 $28

9.0 (VF/NM) $35 $21

Doesn't make much sense to me. Can someone elaborate?

Don't know about the price, but I am trying to figure out why that was posted in the SA forum? lol

DC really knew how to tune into kids' deepest fears and dreams.

The image of a phantom Superboy desperately trying to communicate with - and touch - his parents, the rising hysteria in his >GASP< ...pretty potent stuff. It's a great fantasy cover.

Oh yeah, I hear it's a key too... :)
