Flex Mentallo
My first Centaur cover... due to Morey's painterly style and duo one effects, I had to reinterpret some of the details to translate into a painting... All great choices to render in your unique style, Ryan- none more so than this one. I just love it!
TheEyeSees
I've been busy with a group of five oversized GA commissions for a single private collector, four of them Lou Fine covers (I had never done a Fine cover up to this point). Here's the first two, will post the other three soon… Mystery Men #2: and HIT #5: All five have full wrap around edges…

Scrooge
What else could it be coming from Timely? Props again for sharing these. How do you feel now having worked over Fine's work about his crafstmanship?

TheEyeSees
What else could it be coming from Timely? Props again for sharing these. How do you feel now having worked over Fine's work about his crafstmanship? Like Schomburg, I have a real appreciation for how Fine structured his work… very little is fudged in, he really took his time and paid attention to details. This is often a rare attribute in GA covers/art.
TheEyeSees
Ryan, is the wrap around done on canvas (as opposed to illustration board?) Nope, its on a cradled wood panel… a thin wood surface with the sides built up. Canvas has too much texture for me, can't get the fine details.
