She definitely is in shape and has muscles. In the 1st episode of the 4th season she's cage fighting. Personally, I've always found her character on True Blood to be one of the most annoying characters. But I kept wondering maybe it's just the character she plays and the actress herself could pull of the Michonne role. My idea increased ten fold when... True Blood Season 4 finale spoiler She took a shotgun blast to the head in the cliffhanger final scene of the season. If she was written off that show, she's going to need a new job.... brendanb438 Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Rutina Wesley is the actress I have been thinking would be perfect to play Michonne in the show since the moment I heard AMC was going to launch the show. I have read the Sookie Stackhouse books so what happen to her character in the True Blood show is completely different than in the books so I would never have expected her to be "available" for The Walking Dead. I am hoping that this is more a conflict of interest in that HBO doesn't want to give away any details on whether or not she will be back on True Blood for season 5 or not, hence she can do nothing but deny being picked up for WD until they can publicly state otherwise. I will reach out to some of my regional HBO reps to see what the hell is going on with her character of Tara for next season because I know some of them are aware of whether she will be back or not, just a matter of hearing back from them.
