Why don't people ever directly post pictures of their OA here on these boards?

 

Because people are lazy and when someone replies, they repeat the images. You wind up seeing the pictures over and over again. It's annoying and bad netiquette.

 

Clicking on a link isn't that much of a hardship is it?

A link within the post is helpful too, for people like myself who have sigs turned off.

strange that caf is blocked and this site not

 

This site is not blocked on my work website but CAF is. Also the main photo hosting sites are blocked so I still do not see most images.

People would have to make the file size under 200kb to post directly here.

 

People like CAF comments and page views on their art.

 

And it is an easy way to share/show off your entire collection.
