Not sure if this has ever been suggested, but...

I'd like to request a set for foreign editions of a specific issue. For example, Amazing Spider-Man #252, which has multiple copies graded.

I'd understand if this was difficult to do, but I'm putting together a CGC set of these, so I'd thought I'd ask.

This set would include (and all of these are in the census with at least one graded copy, some have more):

Amazing Spider-Man #252 (US)

O Homem-Aranha #71 (Brazil)

Amazing Spider-Man #252 (Canadian 75c Price Variant)

L'Etonnant Spider-Man #157/158 (French Canada)

Die Spinne #111 (Germany)

L'Uomo Ragno #39 (Italy)

El Asombroso Hombre Arana #372 (Mexico)

De Spektakulaire Spiderman #58 (Netherlands)

Spiderman El Hombre Arana #67 (Spain)

Spindelmannen #78 (Sweden)

Others exist, but currently have no graded copies so they could be added once I submit them.

I may be wrong here, but this seems like the perfect example of what would a be non-scoring custom set - once they get that functionality added to the registry, of course.

Otherwise I just don't see (logistically) how it could be done - Spider-Man, for instance, is published in 70+ different countries, in over 20 different languages, and most of the foreign publishers don't follow the numbering used by Marvel in the US. It would be a mind-bogglingly complex operation if Gemma had to match each individual issue of ASM with 70+ foreign counterparts.

You're right, I agree this would be an ideal custom set.

Actually, this is pretty much all known ones - graded at least. I can help match them if needed, and Chespirito knows a lot about these too.

It seems like not every country printed this issue. For example, Poland printed #238, 298, 300 and 361, but not 252. I'm actively looking for others, but I think a set of the graded ones could be doable (but let's wait to hear what Gemma has to say (thumbs u )

Gemma,

Follow up from a thread I'd posted last year. Is it possible to further expand the "Infinite Crisis" set so the printing/ cover variants are separated? I believe George Perez handled the primary versions, and the Jim Lee covers were the variants.

Link showing the various variants: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Infinite_Crisis/Covers

Suggested split:

Infinite Crisis #1 (George Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis #1 (Jim Lee cover)

Infinite Crisis #1 (2nd Printing B&W Jim Lee cover/ Retailer Incentive Edition)

Infinite Crisis # 2 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis # 2 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis # 3 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis # 3 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis # 3 (2nd Printing, Lee B&W cover)

Infinite Crisis # 4 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis #4 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis #4 (2nd Printing, Lee B&W cover)

Infinite Crisis # 5 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis # 5 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis #5 (2nd Printing, Perez B&W cover)

Infinite Crisis # 6 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis #6 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis #6 (2nd Printing, Lee B&W cover)

Infinite Crisis # 7 (Perez cover)

Infinite Crisis #7 (Lee variant cover)

Infinite Crisis: Secret Files & Origins

Infinite Crisis: Secret Files & Origins variant

Gemma,

Please add the following:

* X-Men / Alpha Flight #1-2 (1985)

Thank you, Gemma!

I like this series! :applause:

(thumbs u It's definitely a sentimental fave of mine. And I've always LOVED those two wrap-around covers, which work well in the CGC cases.

As a matter of fact (Gemma), I believe that New Mutants Special Edition #1 was tied into that storyline as well.
