That's OK, I hear you don't respond to PMs anyway.

he was "bullying", that's what cowards do.

From what I saw it didn't look like the first shot was thrown by Greggy and shots got traded back and forth, then the comments crossed the line.

"Bullying" seems an oversimplification.

I thought that the first shot was simply a "nerd" joke so I didn't think anything of it.

Was there more history to it?

Dunno, but Greggy got pulled into a thread he had not commented on with a "Greggy should comment on what it's like living with his parents"-type comment, he responded with not nice comment, and then got a response referencing his race, his weight, his country of origin, etc. etc. then it got super nasty.

Yup, I think i caught all of it.

It was bloody.

BTW, so i don't get bombarded, please no PMs anyone. I won't repeat it as there was a lot of personal mudslinging that will share stuff about people's private lives that doesn't need to be shared. It's best to just bury it and let them two work it out.

He doesn't like Roy'ds....

Right or wrong. Don't be surprised when you post VERY personal stuff here that it gets thrown back in your face at some point. It's the Internet people, not a confessional.

This is a very good point.

Once it's on the net it's not private in any way. You can't reel it back in.

And once again, the wisdom of keeping a low profile on the internet rears its beautiful head. :cloud9:

I'd farrrrr rather be accused of being secretive, than have every stranger on the planet have access to my dirty boxer briefs.

I would argue for consistency, but then again, I'm no martyr.

I continue to be amazed at how casually people throw their private lives up on the web. This board included. I don't get why people even want to do that. yeah, I know it's a community and after awhile, you get comfortable, but it still isn't a very good idea.

Wasn't the "mom's basement" nerd jab just a joke that get's played a zillion times a day on here or was there something deeper behind it?

Don't get me wrong, I like both greggy and oakman, but some of the comments seemed a little one sided.

I don't know about you but taking shots at race, nationality, weight, are a touch more than generic nerd baiting.

There was giving and taking by both in that exchange.
