Round 10 Commentary

 

Round 10 stormed in with a crashing fury and left only one atop the snowy mountain: toro

 

Moving into a four-way tie for Second Place are canickus, ckp1680, G.A.tor, and Norinn Radd.

 

Mr. Consistent, bryan91, trips and notches his first -1, dropping him 7 spaces to Eighth Place.

 

Entering (or re-entering) the Top Ten are etanick, comicdonna, Flaming_Telepath, mrlatko, and zuckuss2003

 

Contestants to watch: green, Park, and shiverbones all of whom notch their third bullseye in a row!

 

NOTABLE: zuckuss2003, AJD, Silver, s-man, wasonff, trmoore54, and genrlzod who have yet to notch a -1 round!

 

MOST GRADES OFF makes its entrance into the Individual Achievements category. A TOUGH Round 10 ends with 45% of the contestants getting within +/- 1 grade.

Yeah. I hear you. I dropped from 4th place to 16th.

Everyone is so close that you get a -1 and lots of people get a +5 and you can drop a LONG way.

The foxing was very minor.

holy sweet Mose....now this one I will gladly credit luck because I had no idea how to downgrade foxing...I figured the book is a solid 9.2 so I only knock it down by one grade due to foxing...for all I know the book could be 9.4 and CGC downgraded it 2 notches.

I think when people hammered it they dropped it 2 ENTIRE grades and not CGC grades.

 

9.4 --> 9.2 --> 9.0

9.4 --> 7.4 (Most people actually chose 7.5)
