Wow. I would not be happy with a 7.0 book with a tear like that. Assuming I paid a 7.0 price for it...

CGC is tough to figure out. I sent in a Beautiful Iron Fist #14 that looked all of 9.0 a few years ago.

 

It had a tiny 1/4 inch tear at the top and it came back 7.5

 

Also, I think they are a little loose right now. My last few subs all graded higher than expected.

 

Time to send in some books that are borderline fellows!
