Gemma,

Thanks for adding the sets I requested.

Please check the census again for Sport Thrills 11-15. There are 5 total copies graded of 3 different issues. I think you looked at the title Sports Thrills, which is listed in the census but does not exist.

Thanks!

Well I've probably gone off the deep end, but I'm currently in the process of collecting every Michael Turner CGC 9.8 (or better) comic that he ever did art for. Would it be WAY too much to ask for sets by artist? I know in most cases the list would be too long, but in Turner's case I think it would be managable, especially considering he has passed away (may he RIP) so the set will be forever locked once it was initially created. There are websites out there that list all of his works. I feel I'm probably about 60-70% of the way through completing this collection.

(I feel like a reverse entropy engine with building my collections, and I love it! :-)

Always fun to make a totally ridiculous request for a first post :P but I've been following the forum for many years.

Thanks!

I think you would have to provide her with a list.

It's a pretty lengthy list but the shrine appears to have everything (from what I can tell at least). Lists found there under "Body of Work".

Thanks!

I'd recommend cutting and pasting or typing out an easy-to-read list for Gemma to reference...especially for long lists like the one you want. The easier we make her job, the faster she can make the changes we all bug her about so often.

Continue being awesome, Gemma!

Gemma,

I know this won't be implemented for a long time if ever, but I was wondering how you'd feel about the Foreign sets divided into specific issues and their foreign reprints.

For example, the ASM 252 set would look like this:

O Homem-Aranha #71 (Brazil)

L'Etonnant Spider-Man #157/158 (French Canada)

Amazing Spider-Man #252 (Canadian Price Variant)

Die Spinne #111 (Germany)

L'Uomo Ragno #39 (Italy)

El Asombroso Hombre Arana #372 (Mexico)

De Spektakulaire Spiderman #58 (Netherlands)

Spiderman El Homre Arana #67 (Spain)

This way, there are very specific issues being made into sets, and not just one big set with "random" issues being included.

Gemma:

I know all the Timely books have their own set. Could we have a Marvel 1961- 1965 Super Heroes set? I think this is one of the most collected periods of Marvel Comics, or comics period, and introduces the vast majority of major (and minor) players in the Marvel Universe.

Marvel SuperHeroes 1961-1965 would include:

Amazing Fantasy 15

Amazing Spider-man 1 - 31 & Annual 1-2

Avengers 1 -23

Daredevil 1-11

Fantastic Four 1 - 45 and Annual 1 - 3

Incredible Hulk 1 - 6

Journey into Mystery 83 - 123 & Annual 1

Marvel Collector's Item Classics 1

Marvel Tales 1 - 2

SGT Fury 1 - 25 & Annual 1

Strange Tales 101 - 139 & Annual 2

Tales of Suspense 39 - 72

Tales to Astonish 27, 35 - 74

X-men 1-15

Gemma:

I'd love to see a Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles volume 1 set added. This is the 1987-1989 series that was released alongside volume 1 of TMNT and introduced some key characters. There are 7 issues, but 5 and 7 have no graded copies yet. Here are the links to the census listings for the other 5:

Tales #1

Tales #2

Tales #3

Tales #4

Tales #6

Thanks Gemma!

This one got buried pretty quickly.

Hi Gemma,

I was a bit surprised to see these two sets not yet listed, unless I'm somehow just missing them. But they're not listed with the other Legion sets. Please add:

  • Legion of Super-Heroes #1-63 (1984) (3rd series) -- the deluxe format series
  • Legion of Super-Heroes #1-125 (1989) (4th series)
