I went to the old homesite today and dug up all my dolls from the doll graveyard.

 

My neighbors do a big set up every year and I keep saying I will kick their butts. This year I may do it! I have a few dozen burnt/decrepit nasty dollies,7 OOAK creepy babies, a bride and groom zombie and a chupacabra..plus skulls and bats tarantulas..

 

 

I can't decide if I want to go scary but not too bad so kids will not run away or to say "Hey if they run I will not have to give out so much candy...hmmm tough call

Happy halloween Hep! can't wait we went shopping today and got goodies to set up the yard. We only have a short time the HOA allows decorations to be up but looks like it will be some fun!

Yes it is me it is a "dress rehearsal" for my halloween costume I found out I need better brushes for detailing . A nice boardie here gave me a link to someone's reverse sugar skull make up..my husband said he did not like the black predominant color..so I went with basic sugar skull. Last night I also practiced with a zippered face but I am not sure I want to go with it. BUT that being said if I go with extra scary..it literally scares kids off the lawn and I will have lot's of candy left over.

 

We went through 12 bags last year and we did not decorate except for the standard giant spider,cauldrons,and flame pots. Thi year I already have bats and spiders and signs the doll graveyard will be super cool . My neighbor doesn't decorate, she is letting us use their yard too if we need to.

 

Home owner Association we sort of lucked into this place. My friend told me about an apartment complex but gave me the wrong name. When I called they said "How did you know we even had apartments? We are a condo place but we have 5 rental units. They are all full but we'll take your number." They called us a few weeks later to say someone who was supposed to move into the 4 bdr had not followed through. It took tons of paperwork and two months. Anyway they are pretty strict about decorations, they do regular "housekeeping" inspections etc..but it is a nice apartment and pretty cheap (although they have raised our rent 4X in the 2.5 years we've lived here it is still cheaper than a two bedroom.)

We went to the casino yesterday to use our coupons and won enough to buy Halloween stuff ,pay for breakfast, AND gas money!!

At the halloween store I ended up getting two hair pieces. They were only $2 each. They had several neat "steam punk" accessories that were all on clearance!

I don't plan to make any changes to my time tested Halloween itinerary. I'll start off the evening by trick or treating.

 

 

Once I fill a couple of pillowcases, I call it quits. After getting my share of the goodies, I plan to roam the streets and terrorize the citizenry on this side of the tracks:

 

 

I've been muscling up for several weeks now by eating plenty of Humpty Dumpty chips and Vachon Passion Flakies. Once everyone is cowering indoors in fear, I'll "borrow" a conveyance from someone's porch and go joy riding with my chauffeur Lilith until the wee hours!

 

 

Then when I get home I immediately dive into my goodies!
