Got back some inital grades on my economy orders today-- 9 rejected out of 30--most grades were 9.0 and 9.2 with a dash of 9.4s. These late silver age/early bronze age are a pain to get in high grade... 893frustrated.gif

 

This order was almost exclusively Witching Hours 1-30 or so. I'll set up scans once they arrive. The next economy order are all Marvel horror. Stay tuned.

I have to think that's why it's where it's at price-wise. Not to say it's not cool, but definitely would be much higher if it was all original. Sorry if I'm being Capt. Obvious, but there are much better bronze horror covers available that I would rather have. I am sure it will still go for a lot more.

Greggy - I AM getting better. Thought it was Wrightson and GCD says it is. That is a classic cover. More a "thinking" cover than an in your face one. Really like it and will be seeking that especially.

 

But there is something VERY familiar about it and damned if I can put my finger on why. The odd angularity of the composition and the look of the wolf: they remind me of another cover as well. Any ideas?
