Ghosts 1-4 were all bought from reputable dealers with 30+ years in the business, guys we have all bought from on here before.  

All Books were CPR'd before grading.

Ghosts#1 (RAW NM- 9.2) CGC grade 8.5,

Ghosts#3 (RAW NM) CGC grade 7.5

Ghosts#4 (Raw NM) CGC grade 9.0.

Ghosts#2 (Raw NM) CGC grade 9.4

Secrets of Sinister House #5 (Grade CGC 9.4 Old Label) Current CGC grade 9.2

No blaming anyone as I believe the grades I bought them in raw were fair.  Just disappointed and somewhat puzzled by the grader notes.

Sorry that the grades were inconsistent, but you’ve got awesome taste!!!

Awesome! Glad that I found this thread. I collected this genre from the late 90’s to the early 2000’s and love it. I couldn’t afford GA horror back then which is what a lot of guys in my area were buying. I’m dipping my toes in GA horror, but the late silver early Bronze Age DC horror is full of nostalgia for me. I’m also glad to see so many other fans of this great period of comic art and storytelling!

My raw copy of HOM 204 is maybe an 8.5, but after seeing yours I would love something in the 9.2-9.6 range!

I don’t think so, I believe many here (including myself) appreciate his work. He had a pretty wide and varied history in comics that included co-creating Man-Thing. Sad that he left us too soon!

Thanks Jayman! Bought raw cheap recently and came back this grade. And 9.0 to 9.2 are solid grades for these. If luck out with 9.4 and higher, of course ill take em, but dont have to be those grades. Not too much of a window to keep snagging alot of these with this approach as these are heating up as alternative to PCH (though high grade particular Bernie and Adams covers are fetching good money).

But I'll keep getting while the getting good for now
