Irredeemable Ant-man - new listings up to $9.95 each from $1 2 days ago.

Multiple lots all gone - either sold or removed, I only saw one guy offering 4, and that was from Canada. I assume people have decided that the O'Grady character will be the Ant-Man in question and are reacting accordingly.

 

I'm still keeping a look out on Robots v Zombies, Powers (image) and Nonplayer simply because of recent TV/Movie contracts but they still seem to be about the same price.

 

Sweet, I actually got a stack of the Irredeemable Ant-man series since I thought it was a very funny book picked up cheap in the back-issue bins. Might try and hock it now then to cover my SDCC expenses.

 

I thought the "Powers" tv show is dead in the water? I think there was a pilot or something filmed for it but the networks passed on it.

I am just 80s collector snob what can I say. (shrug) I grew up on Bryne, Perez, and David, Starlin, and a Stern. Good art and a good story are just tough to find.

 

I like No Place Like Home, Manhatten Projects(Very odd for me but was ex-history teacher,)Revival(although early), Saga is growing on me slowly I didnt like first issue, Walking Dead, Harbinger(1st issue), Hack Slash, Justice League(Its pretty okay), Batman, Secret(Although 2nd issue left me uttlerly confused)

 

I am on the fence with Massive, Morning Glories(I used to love it now its getting me confused),Planetoid, Batwoman(Started great slowed down I think)

 

I didnt like Fatale or Peter Panzerfaust. I thought ToT was okay, but not exciting. Didnt like Avengers vs X-men, Wonder Woman(Although I heard it got better later on.) or Batwing.

 

In summary there isnt a title other then WD that has been really good for me for a long time. Some would even say WD had gone down hill, but I still love it. Every week I talk to other guys in my LCSs around the area looking for new books to try. I picked up No Place Like Home on boardies recommendation and loved it. I think Revival shows the best promise of any new book I have seen in while.

 

I really think we should start a trading thread where we just pass books onto each other repeatedly so everyone can get a read of a certain book if they like it or not. Then they just pass it on.

There were a lot of sets and lots of variants that I cut from the list due to keeping this list pure but it's interesting to see what SDCC 2012 variant is already "heating up" and what series are gaining momentum.

found a copy of nightwing #4 at my LCS for cover in the back issue bin. funny thing is, two weeks ago they didn't have it (or if they did, they didn't know they had it), as i looked in the back issue bin, and asked if they had any in the back room.

Agreed on No Place Like Home. It's actually FREE to read on Comixology too :gossip:
