AAnnnnnddddddddddddd.....

Everyone needs to take a deep breath.

98% of new titles will be a bust.

of those 2% remaining, the flame will only flicker for a short period.

The long-term (in modern's over a year) successes you can count on 1 hand.

Its those you need to find, and the only way is to do a ton of reading and research...and have patience.

I would say, after the walking dea, only Revival and Bedlam MAY join TWD.

Saga,whist awesome,will soon be having a 50,000+ print run.

Issues other than #1's always end up being worth just over cover unless they are one of the above.

Jumping in with both feet and a full wallet will lead you to the path of poverty very quickly.

So before you rush out and spend $300 on Nowhere men #4 2nd print - inhale and think.

Some of the purchases on here are absurd - 2c

Saga will always be > then Revival and Bedlam as far as $ goes, regardless of print runs

Seeing that I love Saga, I'd have to agree :)

In regards to print runs, Saga is not suddenly going to shoot up by 20,000 copies a month - it's a niche title, just like Walking Dead, which means there's a definite cap to the readership it can attract. I mean, look at the comichron numbers for the last issues:

Saga #4 = 41,143

Saga #5 = 40,556

Saga #6 = 40,584

Saga #7 = 46,971

Saga #8 = 42,324

If anything, we'll see a slight dip in the print run when people realize that ordering 20 copies of issue #11 probably isn't that smart from a speculation point of view.

But definitely not a nine month comic selling for $500 slabbed!
