I hope these blow up because I really want them to!

In ten years you'll make a profit on those books.

 

But until Image stops publishing the dollar reprints, the original trade paperback will not have good resale value.

 

Low print run and the first reprinting of the WD #1 is a recipe for profit in my book.

Idunno, by issue 3 of Preacher it was clearly something different than other books at that time. It had a real voice. I don't sense that from BlackAcre.

I collect these but I would never pay more than 5 bucks for any issue other than the walking dead & invincible issues or maybe one that features Deadpool prior to New Mutants 98 but i have no idea if there is such an issue.

Don't get me wrong...Preacher definitely had more flash and bang right off the bat but the purpose of the story didn't really come together for a while. Hell the Saint of Killers may be one of my favorite characters in a comic. I'm actually surprised DC hasn't found a way to bring him back.

I dunno JL.....for a raw single issue....>$250 ain't half bad. You could'a always squeezed out a few more sheckles....but that's a righteous sale IMHO.
