The weekly Market report is STILL a work in progress..

Let me know what you guys think.

Nice list,

One thing though:

Dog Logan's first appearance is not in Origins 1, it is in the Marvel Convention Special 2001 and if you don't count specials, variants or previews then it's in Wolverine 166.

I love the New X-men 134 pic and cannot wait for Five Ghosts!

Here's are a few comics that SHOULD be heatin' up on Ebay:

Marvel Age 25

If you look back there are not many Rocket Raccoon Appearances prior to the reformation of the GOTG during Annihilation. I believe this is his second comic book appearance.

None of you seem to see the importance of Preview Issues even though he's on the cover of Amazing Heroes 60 and it is actually his second color appearance.

Human Torch 70th Special ( variant ) Snyder's work on Batman is all people seem to talk about but what about his first pro work? His Iron Man Noir mini was a great read as well but I think those can be found in abundance.

Iron Man 2 Agents of Shield

The true first appearance of Agent Coulson

This one is highly speculative but...

Batman 664 First appearance of Ellie. Like Harper Row she has been an intriguing character in the Batman Comics. She has been developed slowly and witnessing the death of a hero who just saved her life gives a reason to dedicate her life to fighting crime. I love that she is in the now famous panel where Batman holds his dead son. Could she end up as a Robin down the road?

Batman 656

Damian Wayne's first appearance ( issue 655 is only a cameo as far as I am concerned much like Harper Row in Batman 1 )

Marvel 2001 convention Preview

First Dog Logan. He's on the cover but I don't have the issue to see if he's inside the book. If he is then the Captain America Variant would be the one I would buy.

Invincible Iron Man 10

Barcode Variant & 2nd print,

if the new Iron Man film has Pepper Potts Rescue Armor.

I don't see any of these books doubling their current value in the near future.

First Dog that anyone will care about is Wolverine Origins #1

Batman 656 like 655 is going to be meaningless in three months

Marvel Age 25 is a nothing book and will never leave the three dollar bin.

Scott Snyder Iron Man Noir is nothing as all Noir marvel books had huge print runs. Snyder's Severed is his best work and the value of Severed will never reach the heights of Tec 871.

the Iron Man books you picked have potential. I just don't see them doubling from their current, already inflated, prices when first whiplash never increased more than 10% in value after the second movie was announced.

JL's Modern Hotness critique

Sad to say but you are probably right about Dog Logan even though the Variant for the Convention Special DOES have pencilled pages featuring him inside.

The issue 655 Kubert Variant is meaningless? Are you sure you collect comics and don't just spend your days hoarding and flipping Image books? All I said was that it's not his first appearance only a cameo.

Try finding that Marvel Age book. If you do I will buy them al from you at 25 cents each. Rocket Raccoon has less than 15-20 appearances prior to 2008 and he is primed to be a huge favorite amongst the masses if the movie is any good. I would hoard ever early appearance I could find. Almost all of his early appearances are cheap so there is little risk if he sucks on screen.

You must read like you rap Jimmy cause I never said those Iron Man books would be worth a dime. I agree that severed is good but I would never invest in that mini. The book I suggested is a variant of his first pro work and it is tough to find.

You are right about whiplash but that doesn't mean that Rescue won't cause some of those Iron Man 10s to jump. We are speculating right?

Thanks for the input.

25 cents for Marvel Age 25 is less than cover!

$5 a piece and I probably have 3 - 5 of them....

Oh sorry i was only able to find three marvel age 25 nm...

I took them out of my already organized three dollar bins and am selling them at $5 a piece shipped (FROM CANADA). I am not giving you mylars as well....

if you're serious send me pms but I'm pretty sure you are not serious. I just wanted to prove that I hoard everything and not just image. :sorry:

Sadly the supplies are probably more expensive and more desired then the books...

For now. I would add Sensational She-Hulk 44,45,46, to the list of undervalued Rocket Raccoon Appearances as well. Groot appearances are even more scarce.
