I don't see any downside to hanging on to anything new 52 Batman indefinately, until they revamp the series again and start the numbering over.

I think its hard to resist starting over when a company needs a short term boost in sales. Marvel has done it a lot. Even Image has been guilty of this. DC has the more stable history but books like Green Arrow and Green Lantern have done several volumes. I don't believe there is a need if sales stay high.

I asked like an hour ago for sdcc copies to the writer who came on the boards. He sent me a PDF and I got 30 pages in before deciding I could wait for the printed edition.

 

I'm too out of shape to pump and dump. That's why I pay by the hour now.

I don't really post much on the boards but since you guys have never really steered me wrong in the past i would like to ask a question, I have the new 52 batman #1 Ethan van Sciver variant and a buddy wants to trade me the first print of the series for the variant, should i do it or just ask him if i can buy his copy straight out right from him. Also A voice in the dark sounds amazing im looking forward to picking it up.

I've ordered a copy from Lamire but did get correspondance from him saying his chair is broken & there will be delay in him getting them out but he did send a PDF of the book so well looking forward to reading this today
