... And then PM me for pressing

Don't think you could press that and improve it much.

Bingo, those books aren't pressable, stock is the cardboard type, and you can't get enough pressure on the corners to get anything out. Good price though

FWIW, got a few in, they pressed out really well. Gonna grade them now.

Really?

I got two and one didn't even have the corner ding. :takeit:

Yep, graded 9.8 too!

For those that aren't aware...stiffer cardboard covers CAN be pressed (Enormous, DKIII, etc)...they just have to be pressed carefully, and they don't respond as well.

You can EASILY destroy a cardboard cover beyond redemption.

Want to give my two a shot? :baiting:

Sorry, but I'm too busy to take on any extra work right now.

What tier did you use for grading? You were going to send them in on the 22nd and you have a pic on the 4th. 7 business days to ship, grade and have them shipped back?

Especially as the verification tool on the main site shows the book was graded on the 22nd. Lightning!

Time is of the essence when you're dealing with manufactured collectibles.

Hmm, thought all comics were "manufactured". Learn something new everyday!

Anyone know the distribution on DCs coloring book variant......i saw a stack of 100 Detective and only 2 copies of the coloring book and i was the first person there
well midtown is selling them at cover, and they're not sold out yet. sooo.....its probably a crapshoot dependent on just how much each store ordered. your store doesn't think it has too many coloring book customers. I'm not sure TEC has a great chance at being a low print run. If you really want to speculate, I'd go for something with a hot girl on it, as other than Harley, those are lower print run titles.

On-site grading only happens at shows - there won't be another show with on-site grading till Megacon in May.

The walk-thru tier is same day service - I've seen more & more people use this tier for pricey moderns to ensure they hit the market first.

Express, I had a buyer already willing to pay for a 9.8+

grabbing one each just because they're kind of neat...just thought it odd I went to 4 stores and only one had them and those were very limited.

Can you tell me how cover is? I imagined that it would feel the same as a sketch cover, but I feared it might be a normal slick cover.

There was no minimum purchase to order, but I suspect you'll see a few less of these than most of the DC monthly variants because....I don't know... I ordered about 10% less.

Which means there will still be a buttload of them, and no way to know for sure what the actual number is because it isn't broken out separately anywhere.

The printer accidentally released them a week early and Marvel decided to allocate this week and fill to order next week. (thumbs u
