2 stores had Young Terrorists, 3 stores didn't order it (too expensive)..1 of the stores that had it was the BAM variant (cost about $11 after tax).

Paper prices haven't rose this fast. All prices seem to be going higher.

 

I'm going to go it's the "Why not charge more! Look at what out other recent titles are being hyped up to be and sold for on eBay!" aspect.

great value IMHO.

 

I'd love to see similar price point from other publishers.

Black Mask has been worth my investment.

 

My shop has been a destination as many others don't stock them yet.

I like the material too.

 

ALL of their properties could be other forms of media, so I think of them as mid-long term modern plays...

I kinda like them.

Solid concept that draws in an existing fan base doing homage covers of classic gangsta rap albums. My shops cover is loosley based on Boogie Down Productions (By All Means Necessary).

 

Feels "indy"

 

Didnt picture you as a follower of gangsta rap albums.

Yeah, has 'issue 1' in the indicia and 'continued' on last page.

 

Anyway, read half the issue over lunch and the story has me hooked. Will definitely be adding this to my pull

I like the cover, copying the famous picture of Malcolm X peering out the window with his rifle:

KRS-One used the same pose on BDP's second record.

 

BDP started out as "gangsta" rap, but then switched styles.

It's a 1st print with a Ben Templesmith cover

And it doesn't come in a sealed bag !
