BB 28, Showcase 22, or Flash 105

I know Brave and the Bold 28, Flash 105, and Showcase 22 have all been the same caliber/comparable in the past, how do they compare today, in regards to significance and value to the collector and the industry?

I went with brave and the bold 28 because it has one of the best teams ever assembled.

I went for Green Lantern for the love of the hero, the Green Lantern. ( The coolest D.C. character outside of the Bat)

Would showcase 4 have been a better book to compare with b&b 28 and sc22?

Not quite, Showcase 4 is ahead of all three, especially in lower grades, a 3.0 almost went for 3,000 through sparkle city not long ago on ebay, a 3.0 of Showcase 22 or Brave and the Bold 28 don't come close to that in 3.0. Showcase 4 is just very rare, and doesn't come up for auction much.

I see what your getting at. I was just wondering based on first appearances, I know showcase 4 is a very rare and special book in any grade.

Yep, the Flash isn't even close. But I do agree that Showcase 4 blows the others away.

 

I picked BB28. But, it is very close. In the end, the first team beats GL.

I chose Showcase 22. In my opinion, GL (Hal Jordan) is probably the #2 DC superhero behind Batman right now.

BB 28 is more significant...basically the start of arguably the most powerful super hero team ever assembled, especially when JLU started...

 

Not only that, very undervalued/under appreciated at the moment...

I expect all three of these books to rise in the future substantially, especially Flash 105 (if the Flash movie ever comes out.)

There's definitely a good chance a Flash (along with other JLA members) movie is released; then of course, they will team up and a JLA movie will hit and DC will finally catch up to the Disney/Marvel monoply.

I don't know if I agree with that...the last time I checked the registry, there weren't a ton of BB 28s in high grade. And I don't see them come up for sale all that often...

IMO Shaowcase 22 is behind only Showcase 4 inimportance among Silver Age DC books.
