Sorry for the dumb question, but what's a file copy?

a file copy is a copy owned by a creator / artist/ writer, or some other person who had something to do with the book..

ie a 'Stan Lee File Copy' of a book, is a copy that Stan himself once owned..

a Dave Sims file copy of Cerebus #1 is a copy that Dave Sims owned...

Thanks, for the info? So would that mean it's also a pedigree?

not a pedigree... a pedigree is defined as an original owner (OO) collection that meets certain criteria (long runs, high grade, etc, etc)... but, a book owned by Sims that can be substantiated does have provenance

AF 15

ASM 1

Archie 1

X-Men 1

Cap Amer. 2

nice! what condition are they in? pics?

There's a few pics floating around the GA section and SA sections. The pic of my AF15 was the cause of some drama a while back, since a drag queen stole my picture, and "sold" my book on eBay. Needless to say I'm rather hesitant to post pictures now.

This thread seems familiar but...

AF 15 - 7.5

FF 1 - 7.5 (Re-sub candidate but I'm afraid)

Hulk 1 - 7.5 (WP)

ASM 1 - 8.0

Showcase 4 - 7.0

I don't collect any GA, but a Tec 27 may be in my future wantlist :wishluck:
