Trawled through some indie classics in the last few weeks.

 

Girls: #1-#24 - a masterpiece in storytelling from the Luna Brothers for an extended 21st century twisted Twilight Zoneish tale of how stupid some men really are.

 

The X-Files (Topps Comics): #0-#41 - a decent companion title to the great TV series.

Finally started reading The Goon, it had been sold to me as the love-child of Bone and Hellboy, but to be honest, it isn't quite that.

I love the art, the stories can be somewhat repetitive and the humour sometimes tends to be crass just for the sake of it, but I am enjoying the series.

 

So far I've read

 

The Goon v1 1-3

The Goon v2 1-4

The Goon V3 1-31

The Goon Noir 1-3

The Goon - Chinatown and the Mystery of Mr.Wicker one-shot

I try to read 3 comics a day, and sometimes more.

Right now I'm working my way through the full run of fantastic four, finished 220-222 today.

I'll start keeping track, and see if I can reach the thread goal before the years out.
