ASM #671-#673 & Annual #39

 

Finally caught up with Spidey before the big change with #700. More entertaining writing from Dan Slott, including a decent Lizard story but the Sinister Six arc went on for too long and Alpha is extremely irritating.

Avenging Spider-Man: #1-#12

 

Or the new Marvel Team-Up. Some hit, some miss. Two really good issues from a writer new to me - Zeb Wells - and some awful Deadpool nonsense at the end.

 

Is Deadpool the worst comic book character ever created?

Kick was a cool book. I am happy I've seen the movie first. Not sure how I would have liked the movie if I would have read the comic first as the comic ruleZ. On the other hand they did good with the movie as some of that stuff would not work on screen.

Powers volume 2: #0 - #30 & Annual 2008.

 

The switch from Image to Marvel is not a smooth one, and the stories suffer for this. Turning Walker into Hal Jordan is not a great plot development. Still a better read than most of the new DC books.
