I think people would be willing to pay a lot if there was a reasonable chance of getting him to sign something, but I doubt that is going to happen anytime soon. Plus, I bet some of the boardies who got Alan Moores sig would be all over an opportunity with him regardless of price.

My friend's cousin James DiMarco works at the Bixby Knoll's local branch of Omaha Mutual Bank in Nebraska, there is an interesting story in which Steve Ditko went to that bank in 1998 with his Grandson Jacob (who at the time was working for the Hewlett Packard, now extincted health branch) and Dr Jacob Ditko was escorted out of the bank when Steve continuously screamed at the teller; apparently the cashier asked him to endorse his social security check with his signature and began yelling: "what the hell is wrong with you?!?!?!? Can you guys stop harassing me for my autograph!!! Just STOP! Can't you get it through your thick heads??! NO autographs!"

In the dimension I come from, Stan Lee doesn't give autographs, and Ditko draws cockroaches on comics to later be slabbed by the leader in comic grading, you guessed it... PGX; it's a crazy world, I had to switch places with the me from this dimension, Jenniffer Aniston was continuously stocking me, despite the three restraining orders...
