The white stripe to the right of the comics code authority seal appears to be a printing defect (and not a rub) as well as the black on the spine to the left of the 25 cent price. Grades are appreciated.

just curious how much does CGC take off for a printing defect? I thought it was very little.

I didn't think CGC would take off so much for Printing Defects. The only thing I see is on the Bottom Edge of the BC. Not sure if that is a scuff or not. It's a very beautiful copy. Brilliantly bright white back cover. I would say 8.5?

CGC grades however they are feeling that day and there is no set standard for deductions of this nature. IMHO... I see an 8.5 and possible 9.0 in hand.
