I love seeing all the peoples showing their sketches and Greedo is doing a terrific jobs.

The member Starpc have done exactly what I wanted to do, found all the Sketches thread links and place it in one post, good job.

Your kinds words are greatly appreciated. You're right, Greedo is da man

Also you could place the link of the thread for each Sketches so that we can all see the others sketches in competition.

I was thinking about all this, and got the following comments/ideas :

- Rules #2 CGC SS Only. Can we tweak it a little to include CGC green label also? Like I said, at the Montreal Comic Con there is rarely any CGC representative. Too bad they don't accept photo as proof.

- Speaking of CGC, many are posting sketch that are NOT YET sent to CGC for grading. I think we could include a rules that say prior to enter the contest, sketch must be ALREADY graded by CGC. Because I still see some Best of the Best sketch winner photo that are still not graded? Or maybe we can add a rules that say the winner must povide a CGC photo in the following 2 or 3 months, if not he can't win.

- Love the "CGC Best of the Best" logo. Can we go further and add a year? I mean the winner of a sketch could be the winner for one FULL year and then be challenge again the next year. That way we could always keep our logo and proudly display it in our signature "Hey look I was the winner of best Thanos sketch for 2012"

3 - with the amount of sketches done and the turnaround time of CGC, I think this would cause more logistical problems than it is worth. But I would like to see a "best of 20XX" where we look at every sketch verified for that year. This will happen when a winner picks the topic.

OK so no love for the green label OK I understand!

That's a good idea. Maybe we could do an "Overall Best of the Best Sketch of 2012" were we pick each winners and vote for the best sketch and do so each year.

And I think we should update the photos of the comics so that it display the sketch in CGC SS when done.

Well life has caught up with me.

Due to increased load at work and kids starting school and sports, I no longer have enough hours in the day to handle real life.

Since I no longer have the time or energy to keep up with these Awards, I have decided I need to pass the baton to someone else.

So if any boardies out there would like to volunteer, just shoot me a PM. I promise it dosen't take up that much time just more than I have. :gossip:
