It finished dead last at the theaters this weekend. The Star Wars generation is fading like a burned out star.

 

:applause: I used to love Star Wars. Now I just want everything about it to fail spectacularly.

 

Jar-Jar Binks does Hollywood was very disturbing...but, I don't regret paying the 20 dollars it cost to get it

On the flip side of all of this I took my 5 year old kid to go see it and he loved it.

 

Was this one of my favorite movies? Nope!

Was this an end all to be all Star Wars movie? Nope!

It was just a good old pop corn flick where the 3D enhanced

the Pod Race and Light saber duels, but aside from all that

it made my kid happy.

 

George Lucas knows what he's doing. He doesn't care if this movie makes more money

or not. But to find another age group to get into his merchandising set-up and re-releasing

these every year is proof of that.

 

I am a fan. I don't hate this movie. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.

I take it as a pop-corn movie with decent special effects.

 

Episode II will be tougher to endure in my book - the Hayden scenes

are enough to make your eyes bleed.

I know people who would probably pay the $600 the guy was asking just to blow up the jar jar with firecrackers for a cool youtube vid..or using him as a decoy to use the carpool lane

:roflmao: First time I've seen something positive said about Jar Jar Binks...

 

Hey I also hear he tastes like chicken..but I don't trust the cook
