The weather is killer. It almost hurt seeing that much sunshine

I know that comic conventions have evolved into multimedia events with the

anime/manga costumers and movie panels starting to take center stage, but I

noticed at the show that the video gaming area had a nice crowd around it too. I think

this is one way where there could be some crossover appeal to expose gamers

to comics.

Nice video Flee!

We're actually going to have a similar video game setup at the March 3-4, Tampa Bay Comic Con.

To keep comics alive for years to come, we need young people to be exposed to them. I think having video games under the same roof as comic books is a great way to make that happen! :)

See how many forumites you can spot..... :busy:

Some highlights:

1:48 Theagenes with some nice John Carter funny books, with MCMiles

hard at work in the background

2:00 Watson eats a pickle

5:26 Lego Roy Lichtenstein

5:35 Boardie Darth Corgi (Christian Slade) in artist alley

At the .24 mark, I put the over/under number of attendees who DID NOT bathe that morning at 415.....

"eats a pickle", not "smokes a pickle", and you have to read what

is printed Wally, heaven forbid your humor should be misconstrued.

Great report Flee, love to see all the boardies dueling.

It's a pity Rick Remender isn't attending the London show because, for something a bit different, I was going to ask him to sign my PS3 copies of Bulletstorm and Dead Space.

Great convention video. Thanks! :applause:

We've always been good, just hoping Jim would chime in, guess he's

not home yet.

Got to pick up the latest book in the Korgi series at the show. It is a

creation of our own Darth Corgi on the boards. It is wonderfully illustrated

in his detailed-ink style. He even added a sketch inside. :)

My wife is a big fan too.
