I lost the Wonder Woman 200 9.6 to a bidder at $825. I wanted that book pretty bad. :(

Sucks to be a buyer tonight.

Yep agree with you there - lost out on these two in the last few seconds :frustrated:

The TTA 35 practically doubled in the last few seconds :pullhair:

The TTA 35 went for ridiculous money...double previous GPA. It may have been the $30,000 sale of the 9.2 late last year that caused the uptick, which was equally crazy. It's an important book, but not that important.

Still might win a smaller book! It's gonna be close!
Let us know if you win it.

Just got outbid and over my budget.

I guess the money will stay here on the CGC boards or maybe mycomicshop

Hey,we can't win them all hee hee.

Was it you? Did you win the X-Men35?

Nope (Can't afford HG SA books yet)

I was bidding on the Uncanny X-Men #258 CGC 9.9

But I got outbid on it.

Very, very tough book.

I sold mine years ago for about a 1/4 of what that one went for.

Wow.

[font:Book Antiqua]Since Tales to astonish # 27 it’s the first app. of Hank Pym

Tales to astonish # 35 (at least books graded by CGC)

should note this it’s the first app of Ant-man (period).

(Not first app in costume) [/font]

That's crazy the price it went for. I sold my 8.5 about 4 or so months ago for $3,500.

I sold a 9.2 for $15K about a year ago.

I'm surprised by that price too.

A couple of notes -

The 9.6 Weird Science #7 went for more ($2550) than the 9.8 ($1900). WTF is up with that?

And the 9.8 Weird Fantasy 21 with a very cool Frazetta cover went for a very cool $9300! Holy Cow!

I won the 9.6 Weird Science 7 and was pretty shocked when it jumped to $2,550 in the last few seconds, especially after seeing what the 9.8 went for. However, I never even considered the 9.8 as the 9.6 looked equally as sharp but with better page quality and slightly better cover whites and color in my opinion. Still happy to win it.
