the covers are great, they make the book stand out. Even if you don't like the art, that minimalist look already makes them look better than Marvel and especially DC books.

Only that it's an ongoing. As far as I'm aware, not many creators have a specific number of issues in mind when they start on something like this. I certainly haven't read anything suggesting otherwise from Hickman re MP.

The covers were what originally drew me to the title. Very simple and unique.

This book could go for a while and get into some crazy stuff. We haven't even hit the Vietnam War yet.

 

I really love this book and adore the artwork. The artwork makes it feel like I'm reading a grown-up and graphic Rugrats every month.

Just reread 8 before I crack open 9. Did anybody notice the little CPWIII Stuff of Legend message on the gun of one of the dudes that Omnipresident offed at the beginning of the book?

 

 

I'll bet those dudes are all friends of Nick Pitarra. The guy in the "I'm fat, let's party" shirt is Paolo Belfiore, Nick's art rep.

That's awesome. I did not know that, but figured it was some sort of inside joke/tip of the hat when I saw it.

 

I have to reread 1-7 this weekend to see what I might have missed out on.
