Just forwarded to Nick. He loves them. He says he'll trade one of his drawings for one of your son's. PM me!
PM sent, my son is on cloud nine. He wants to be a comics artist and this just about made his year!

Man, stuff like this makes me smile. So very cool...

What a great guy!

Just rewound a few pages on this thread and that's awesome :D

The drawings are really cool! Nothing but praise for that last one ;)

(good job on forwarding that on Nexus)

Thanks for all of the kind words about my sons art. Nick asked if he could do a Truman and here is the finished product:

I think the headpiece on the staff turned out really well. My son has a way to go before he can give up his day job, but I think he and Nick have similar styles. He's mimicked other artists before but they were never this good. He did do some awesome Matt Groening Futurama swipes but that is a much simpler style. He also made our family as Simpson characters, I have that one in our office.

Like I said earlier, I have yet to see a bad review for this book. Another rave:

The Manhattan Projects has always been good, boasting big ideas and a fascinating cast of oddball characters from the very beginning, but since issue #8 I’d argue the series has upped its game to a whole new level, with an unbroken chain of 5-star masterpieces. With this insanely high standard, The Manhattan Projects is beginning to challenge even the mighty Saga as the most consistently awesome comic currently in the market. 10/10

MP has always been better than Saga in my opinion. I think most people overrate Saga and underrate MP.

They're both great - but if I had to choose one that I could never read again or know what happens, it would be Saga. I'd hate to miss whatever MP has in store...

I keep waiting for Saga to wow me and it just hasn't. It's a solid story and everything, but a lot of the time it just seems to be trying really hard to be more than it is. I haven't decided whether or not I'm picking up #13 after the hiatus.

MP will never hit Saga's level. That doesnt mean it isnt a great read though.

Saga's "level" of what?

Sales "value"

I'll take that bet. Did you see the Single sketched and double signed #1s go for $250 each? And they weren't available for long before they got snatched up.
