With the 14th (and probably last, although I'm pretty sure they've said that before) issue coming out later this month, let's post some Squa Tronts.  I really should track down some more issues, and the 3 & 4 are the 2nd prints.  Still happy to have the few I do, though!

Thanks for the heads up on this.  I just ordered my copy.  It is supposed to be available as of 3/8. Got mine ordered from Barnes & Noble.

I have a complete set but for a #4 first print.  Mine appears to be a 2nd print with a glossy cover.

I had actually seen 3/16 as the release date, my LSC has it on order.  Glad the heads up helped!

Bud Plant has copies that come with a decorative, signed/numbered plate by the editors with illo by George Evans. Limited to 200.

 

I, too, have a complete run, but no second prints. I do have dupes of a few copies though, as they turned up at a price too hard to resist, or were given to me in a trade....

Note the credit for Richard Corben in the top photo. That is how it looks on the 1st print.

 

It is less 'dark' at the '38' in the second print as shown in the lower image. (Courtesy of EC Fan-Addict FB Group)

 

You can compare your copy with that point and get a perhaps more accurate assessment of what you have?

New York Comiccon 1966. 

This would be two years after the first organized comiccon in 1964 in New York.  Here's a fascinating book about that show that I enjoyed reading.  It has a biography for each of the attendees and it's interesting that virtually every one went on to university and became very successful.  So much for comics rotting our minds.

No 12 was my very first Overstreet.  I was 10

I'm sorry your book fell apart.  I love the fact that the ad for Golden Age Collectables is still almost complete accurate.  The Seattle phone number may be out of date while the address is still right, the Vancouver store seems to still have the same phone number but has moved a couple doors away on the same block.  (Or possibly they just renumbered doors or expanded or something, I've never been to that location.)

My first one also.  I think I was 12 when I got it. If I recall correctly I actually had a hardcover version that completely fell apart also due to overuse.

I think I had that thing memorized by the end of the year.
