Always glad I picked up this remainder copy...it was years later I realized that it told

the story of THE JOKERS origin.

While looking for Christmas covers I ran across this December '48 issue of BATMAN

that I hadn't read in quite awhile.

These comics were reprints of newspaper strips, but it was a good way to read about

and catch up with the past adventures of the comic strips I was reading daily.

I vaguely remember that strip with the cat talking about Josephine. What is the name of that feature? Did it revolve around the guy making weird inventions? Edited by Badger

There's a whole lot going on here!

:applause:

Thank you...they present much better than the grade I would receive but maybe in the future

I'll give it a shot.

Man, it is just a vague memory to me. For some reason seeing that cat triggered the feeling that I have read at least a couple of the stories. I have no idea when that would have been though. (shrug)

Unfortunately this copy was in the box that got wet, but it was a major news event

when Milton Caniff dropped TERRY AND THE PIRATES and created STEVE CANYON.

I remember following it daily and then was so pleased when it was published in comic

book form.
