The 12 variants are not for one particular issue.

They are for different issues.

I am presuming (I have no solid facts just math / timing) that we will see a different variant each month for 2013.

12 variants / 12 months in a year.

That I'm perfectly fine with. I just don't like variant overload like WD #100.

I am leaning against the guess of it being 12 variant covers, only because covers 10 and 12 would be the most unexciting covers ever. (Feet and half a kid or an alien's body)

 

Whatever they do with it, I'd love to see a large poster/print of the collected image.

Seeley does this with Hack Slash since its started. They arent variants just two covers. Usually he does one cover and then another artist will do the other cover. Seems to me he is doing the same thing there. Dont like cover A then buy Cover B.

Not a big deal. A very popular retailer and a few of his compadres are going to be getting variant covers of some of the issues. I might be the first 12 issues, I cannot remember.

Why are prices dropping on the #1's at the moment? There seems to be a sharp decline in prices in the last few weeks. A 9.8 can be bought for $59 on the Bay at the moment.
