Did you ever offer anything up for a RAK from the last time you participated?

Just curious, since KPR ended up rebooting the thread after it was stalled on you repeatedly. I never saw you offer anything up in the RAK thread even though you ended up getting some awesome spider-man books for free.

Wow. "Stalled on me repeatedly"? Thanks for posting that inflammatory "Coles Notes" version. That is a pretty unfair assessment as to what actually happened. You make it sound like I just took some cool books and ran.

This whole fiasco started with me claiming Cheesefrog's claim. I got a MTU #141, ASM #252 and a SW #8. Yes, nice books. Absolutely.

 

My offer, following taking that PIF, was taken 3 TIMES and each time the offer reverted back to me 3 TIMES because NO ONE chose any of the following offerings by people who claimed my offering. In addition to this, there was a general "discussion" about PIF, including a debate about "should PIF be stickied" thrown in the mix and a bunch of other malarky and it was derailed repeatedly, which was NOT my fault. Yet, I'm the one who stalled it. I'm the "bad guy". Right.

 

During this time, YES, I did get frustrated. I think if any person were to read it the whole fiasco from the beginning, anyone would be. KPR, much to his credit stepped in and got the thread going again. I offered any books in my PIF to KPR, which he declined.

 

However, upon looking through that whole ordeal,at post #1300, I did state that I would post something to reciprocate, which I genuinely forgot to do, so I will post something in RAK.

I was asking an honest question.

I did not say that you stalled the thread. I said that it was stalled on you. I understand that's a subtle difference, but it's a difference none the less.

 

But if we're gonna get all Lima Heights about it, fine.

The only reason I thought about it was because what you just offered was pretty weak compared to what you took. So looking back at your participation, I was reminded of the other times you did the same.

I could give a mess about all your reasoning. You got an offer a while back and ended up offering nothing in return. The LEAST you could have done was pay if forward and offered something as equally cool as what you just took.

Obviously, it struck a bit of a nerve. It was not a "honest question". It was posted in a pretty negative and inflammatory way and ignored some significant extenuating circumstances. How it actually went down does make a big difference.

 

What "other times" are you referring to? There we go with that inflammatory stuff again. I've had successful PIFs. My last PIF was claimed THREE times and the general consensus was that it WAS a fair offer. When the whole Giving Tree was a "thing" I had one very successful lot and one that got stalled, again despite the general consensus being it was a very good offer. It was not too long after that that TGT "died" (and no that was not my fault).

 

I do apologize for the oversight by not posting something in RAK following the last PIF I claimed by Cheesefrog. I should have done that but I didn't not post something because I was looking for something for "free".

Maybe I over reacted. Maybe I didn't. Whatever. Ajulliay, we have never had any problems and I'd rather not start now and just move on.
