PRICE REDUCED FS: Amazing Fantasy 15 CGC 4.5 Signature Series OW Pages!!!

38 posts in this topic

Hey all - I thought I would give my boardie friends first dibs on this book!!

Usual :rulez: no probies or HOS.

Happy to explore Time payments, if that's better for you

Just got it in, a really nice looking specimen (graded/signed about 4 years ago). I think its assinged grade is a bit harsh - it looks more like a 5.0 to me (but, it's always harder to grade when the book belongs to you! :) ).

While I can't be 100% sure, I'm told this book hasn't been pressed.

Anyways, price is $13,500 $12,995 shipped. Payment by bank transfer or cashiers check/money order, please.

Please see my Kudos thread below for feedback (or look me up on ebay, where my handle is investmentgradekeycomics)

I don't mind having Stan Lee's signature on the premier AF 15 book. That book represents Stan Lee, Spider-Man and the beginning of the best Marvel era. The signature just looks right there under the left arm.

Of course it can be messed up, if the signature was a poor color choice, smeared, or written over important cover features. In most cases it looks fine on AF 15 to me. (thumbs u

Nice copy Joey.

While I personally prefer books without signatures, I must agree with the other posters and say that the signature placement is great on this book. It looks as if it's part of the cover.

And, this is one of those books where the yellow label actually matches the color scheme of the cover.

GLWTS!

I prefer blue lables myself, but many people like yellow. To each his own!

And yes, if you're going to buy a signature series book, the actual signature placement is huge! Doesn't get much nicer than this.

Not trying to be a but that yellow label on this book makes me want to cry.

Why?

Some people, myself included, don't like sig books. Saying he wishes the book was in a blue label isnt being a , at least not to me.

A *fork*, maybe - but not a *spoon*. Besides, it keeps the thread at the top of the page, so that's alright

In related news, I agree - this is a good placement and a great-looking signature. I think it's a real roll of the dice with Stan's sig (depending on how sharp the point is on his Sharpie), but this one looks good.

I think making a neg comment in a FS thread about the book that is FS is uncool. But you called it yourself anyway...

I dont think his comments were negative. Just that he would prefer to see it in a blue slab. Hell, seems like he would want it in a blue slab.

Not to interpret "this book makes me want to cry" as negative is to stretch credulity.
