Calvin and Hobbes Documentary on Kickstarter

This great cartoon really captures his sentiment toward merchandising:

If he had the power of the internet at his disposal like creators have today, I wonder if he would have allowed restricted merchandising from his own website. Therefore, others would not have gained the profit off of his work and he would have had almost total control over what was released and for how long.

That is wonderful news. :cloud9:

Holy Spaceman Spiff !

4 days to go and theyve already raised the necessary funds.

I just saw a nice Calvin Hobbes book at Mcfarlandpub this morning.

Thanks again.

Was looking at the first chapter of that book (available on the site). The strip ended in 1995! I had forgotten just how long it's been. I remember that when it stopped, I thought Watterson might start it up again after taking a couple of years off. Seems very unlikely now.

Every time i see that Calvin taking a leak car sticker,i do a slow burn.

So was that image licensed by Watterson or the representative or is it a boot?

They are bootlegs.
