My MFT received on 5/11 went to QC today but Express sitting in GEI for almost two weeks (same received as MFT)...I have one book in Express, 12 in MFT ...I don't get it..but happy something is moving fast

I had a Standard sub Received 4/13 (almost 2 weeks after yours) that I got back on 4/26

I sent a NEW Standard Submission in that was received 5/18 and within a couple days went from SFG to GEI so I was encouraged that I'd get it back soon.  But after seeing your post....... yikes

Just three grade notes so far.   I estimated both DCCP 26 and Moon Knight 1 would be 9.0 but the graders are tight on the grades.  I predicted one Cap 241 and few Bones would be 8.0 to 8.5 but all are higher beyond my exception. I thought the graders were supposed to be tight on few Bones.  They are unpredictable.  I thought SSM #9 was going to be 9.2 for the 2nd cover but two grades higher. Unusual days for the graders.  I knew there are no 9.8s in those books however, I am still happy with overall results.

I’ve been going around the block on this one in the past week hoping to get the books moving.  I called in today to chat about it, and got very little useful information and even some that contradicted a previous conversation I had with them. I get the impression customer service doesn’t really know much about where things are at, and don’t care a whole lot either. To be fair, they aren’t incentivized to care. 
 

they said the books were in the encapsulation queue, which is where they’ve allegedly been for 3-4 weeks. They said they were currently encapsulating standard books received 05/16. 
 

I said OK. Mine was received 04/01. Can we get this thing going, if you’re doing books that came a month and a half after mine?

Obviously the answer was no, and basically we just have to take what we get.

A very nice batch of comic books, some of my all-time favorites.

The express (FF 49) has been sitting in GEI for two weeks. I suspect they are waiting for a very experienced grader to grade it. The FTM shipped today is interesting..you can tell it was graded by a newbie ..all the grader notes are standard boiler plate notes ..the fine condition ones have four of these notes and the near mint grades have two of these notes. But the grades were better than I predicted for all but one of them (ASM 299, I was way off it seems)...but I can live with it...all are going to MCS for auction. I really wish they would get that Express out of GEI ...paid a lot for it. The signature shipped today is Claremont signing X-men 101 ...the only X-men cover I like ...finally getting it back...that had to be one of the longest wait times on a SS. It was graded a 7.0 which is what I expected

light spine stress lines to cover

Coming back to me with the exact same grade and notes.  That can't be right.  Those notes indicate pressable and cleanable defects, don't they?

Pretty much the same for the Bendis/Bagley SS, I feel like they took my money and didn't do anything to the books except get them signed and re-slabbed.

I got similar notes after being pressed..I think they just eyeball a grade and copy/paste some random notes from a template of notes or they didn't actually send to CCS
